That fifo should be able to provide an input into Xorg. So how did you determine it is on ttyS3? We’ve been able to support some old serial tablets by using inputattach and trying the various mouse and touchscreen options until we get a protocol that “works”. By the way that appears to be Rafi Rubin who has done a lot of work on the N-Trig touchscreens kernel driver. Does it have a stylus?

You cannot rely on the fact that Stroebel found it on the ttyS3 port.
